THE COMPANY 

EDC, Environmental & Dredging Consultancy is an independent company of consulting engineers with world-wide experience in the fields of dredging, land reclamation and nature and environment. Our company is particularly specialised in the development of custom made solutions for all dredging and environmental projects. Based on our experience we can assist our clients from the early start of the projects to the construction supervision.

EDC was founded in 1998 in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands by Ronald W. van Oostrum MA. Since 2007 the company is fully owned by Mrs. Willeke van Oostrum-Mertens, who is at present also its general director. For over 20 years we have worked for dredging companies, consultancy companies, private companies, port authorities, governmental organisations, the EIA-committee of the Netherlands, and the World Bank.
